September 9 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, was carried out the selection of candidates to be part of the long-term specialization program in the field of “Food Safety and Public Health” .






From July 14-25, 2025, two lecturers from the Department of Agri-Food, Faculty of Agriculture, Msc. Suela Lulollari and Msc. Shegë Çeçi will carry out this mobility at the University of Milan, Italy. They are together with colleagues from partner universities in this project, which aims to develop an innovative postgraduate study program in Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety in the Western Balkans region. In the meetings, trainings and lectures organized, participants will not only share the experiences of their countries of origin, but will also gain new knowledge in the field of food safety, knowledge that will then be put into practice in the teaching activity at the respective universities.
ABOUT PROJECT
Considering Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s will to access the EU, and the existing gaps with the EU aquis, the main aim of our project is to develop innovative post-graduate and Master’s degree education programmes in veterinary public health and food safety for the first time in English, to bring these countries closer to EU standards in matter of education and public health.
